3. Glalie
Ice Snorunt - GLALIE Snorunt becomes Glalie at Level 42
EFFECT: A Pokémon with the effect ICE BODY will recover HP during a Hailstorm. Glalie is definitely a totally unique Pokémon. There is nothing to compare it to in terms of image - perhaps, Cloyster if you were to stretch the realms of similarity. I absolutely love Glalie, it continues the tradition of strong Ice types which have been represented throughout the series of Pokémon games such as Jynx, Articuno and Piloswine. Glalie's ultimate usefulness comes from it's ability to defeat Dragon type Pokémon with consummate ease - an ability you cannot put a price on thanks to Dragon type Pokémon being strong against every other type. If you want Glalie's younger form (Snorunt) then a trip to Shoal Cave is essential because it's the only place you can catch yourself one on Ruby and Sapphire - then once you reach Shoal Cave your going to require a low tide to be able to find S falls into both these attractin first need to visit Mossdeep City and then simply move north until you find what you're looking for. So, Glalie is rare and unique but is it strong? Well, yes. Once Glalie reaches Level 100 it can boast a formidable set of stats which all come within a whisker of the fabled 300 barrier - except it's HP which reaches 300 on most occasions. What about it's moves? As far as Ice type moves go, Glalie ticks all the boxes by learning Ice Beam, Blizzard and Sheer Cold by Level 61 - as well as Hail for all you tactical trainers out there. Useful TM's include Water Pulse and Earthquake, as well as Attract and Toxic.
