10 Greatest Video Game Voice Actors

6. Nolan North (Uncharted)

Nolan North has had one of the fastest ascents of any video game voice actors in history; he's gone from being completely obscure to the face of a hugely-acclaimed franchise within just a few short years, being best known for voicing Nathan Drake in Uncharted and Desmond Miles in Assassin's Creed. He's hardly among the prolific likes of Steve Blum, though like him formally used to stick to peripheral characters and additional voice credits. North's distinctive, charming voice and charismatic demeanour meant that he eventually managed to gain traction as a potential leading man, and his real-life good looks and suave personality help to make him a talent who could very well break through from voice acting into full-on film and TV work. The Uncharted games in particular are among the best-scripted video games of all time, making for an Indiana Jones-like adventure experience that's intelligent, witty, thrilling and a whole lot of fun. Though all of the voice actors are universally great, it's North's cocksure attitude that really makes the story pop and the character seem so iconic.
