10 Greatest Video Game Voice Performances Of All-Time

6. Duke Nukem - Duke Nukem 3D - Voiced By John St. Jon Compared to the rest of the entries on this list, Duke is a man of few words. While Rockstar Games' lead roles are waxing lyrical about life, love and everything in-between, Duke's entire script could be scrawled on a sheet of paper and tucked under a stripper's sparkly g-string. And that's exactly how the man would have wanted it. A quite possibly juvenile inclusion on this Top 10, John St. Jon's work as the eponymous Duke Nukem in his first 3D adventure churned out so many quotable soundbites that it simply can't be ignored. His quips were integral to the beautifully immature charm of the game, enough so that they were hot-keyed directly onto the keyboard, ready to unleash low-brow wit at the press of a button. Besides, who needs to spew forth insightful prose when all that really needs to be said post-murder is€ "Bitchin'".

Game-obsessed since the moment I could twiddle both thumbs independently. Equally enthralled by all the genres of music that your parents warned you about.
