Really, if you thought the achievement in Episode 2 was bad, Alyx’s achievement wins. In fact, Gnome Vault Of My Own even beats out the purple hat from Black Mesa, and that is a significantly less enjoyable game due to hit scan enemies and poor level design.
Regardless, you know the drill by now. You find the gnome and you hold him. You keep him in your grasp throughout the entire game. Sometimes you can put him down and come back, however, if you go past a load zone, you’ll lose him. If you throw him wrong, he’s gone. If you try to pull any funny business, the game will know.
