Achievement and trophy hunters often complain about how unfair multiplayer-specific requirements are, given the tendency for communities to die off and render achievements near enough impossible.

Then there's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter's "World Champion" achievement, which can only be received by taking the global #1 spot on the game's multiplayer leaderboards.
