7. The Frost Giant - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Every Skyrim player can agree that giants are the scariest enemies in the game. Not because they have the most health or attack, but because of their unique ability to instantly launch the player into space with a single hit from their club.
But hey, at least they're easy to run away from as they spawn in huge open tundras. You'd never have to fight one in a tiny, small room, right?
Right?
Well, as it turns out, the Dawnguard has one secret mini-boss in the form of a frost giant hiding inside a secret chamber in the Inner Sanctum of Auriel's temple.
The room looks like a typical secret vault that you'd find and then loot from all the goodies, but instead of treasure, what you find there is a trapped giant that lunges at you the moment you step inside.
Because of the small space in the hidden room, this is one of the tougher fights with a giant, so if you're the kind of person who checks every room they find, you will be in for a nasty surprise.
This said, defeating the giant grants you a ruby that's necessary for spawning the legendary giant-king Karstaag. You know, just in case you needed even more of an ass whooping.
