10 Hardest Video Game Boss Fights You Started By Accident
6. Deathclaw Horde - Fallout: New Vegas
There are only two truly iconic locations in Fallout: New Vegas: the titular City of Sin and the road from Goodsprings to Sloan.
The path to Sloan is the quickest way from the starting location to Vegas, but as anyone who's tried to use it on their first playthrough knows, the distance is actually a ruse to get you killed.
One of the toughest enemies in the game are the infamous Deathclaws, huge horned lizards that can shred anyone to pieces with their sharp claws.
Finding one in the wild is an equivalent to a surprise boss fight. Getting attacked by a whole pack is a simple stroll down the path to Sloan.
You see, if you make the mistake of ignoring the warning signs and use the "shortcut," you'll be forced to face a horde of deathclaws on the way, which is arguably one of the toughest fights in the game, especially when you're just starting your journey.
The deathclaws will attack you randomly, which, combined with another horde of Cazadors in the area, makes it almost impossible to make it through the path alive.
Even Lanius, aka the supposed final boss of the game, can't hold a candle to this insanity!
