RimWorld is not a forgiving game, especially if you're playing with Randy Random as your narrator, which let's be honest, is how most RimWorld players do it.

Random events that completely obliterate your colony are the bread and butter of the game. However, some of these tragic events can actually be triggered by you, and you won't even know it.
The best example of this are Infestations, special boss fight events where an army of giant spiders crawls out from the ground and attempts to devour your entire settlement. Now, Infestations can happen at random, but there is one special kind of this event that happens specifically due to player actions.
