2. The Walking Dead Has Dreadful Graphics
The Awesome: Telltale Games' massively acclaimed episodic graphic adventure series helped breathe fresh life into the world of the AMC TV show, forging a more emotional connection between its characters than the show has ever managed.
The Truth: There's no denying the quality of the game's writing, but from a visual perspective, it really underwhelms. Though we shouldn't perhaps expect superb graphics from a graphic adventure clearly made on a relatively low budget, the game's disappointing aesthetic is at odds with the extremely nuanced nature of the scripts and voice actors. While most of us are able to look past it because, of course, gameplay matters so much more, these games would open their market up even more if the next "season" poured a little more cash into the look of the game. Given the original's success, I'm sure Telltale can afford it now...
