10 Hated Video Games That Are AWESOME Now
1. Street Fighter V
Whilst it may be that fighting games aren't known for their epic and sweeping narratives, deep characters arcs or Tolkien-esque backstories, it's always nice to have a little bit of motivation when you play. That, and an expansive roster of extra fighters that you shouldn't have to pay extra for.
Sadly, Capcom didn't get that memo on release of SFV, dropping such a minimal game and the promise of more fighters for extra money down the line. It didn't sit well with veterans and newcomers alike.
Cynics were bang on the money when they jeeringly said they'd wait for the complete Ultra Mega Arcade version down the line... and they weren't wrong.
But as Capcom are aware, if the demand is there, they will supply it. Sure, there is a Champion Edition on its way, with all the previous content and characters in there.
Annoying if you've already bought some of the packs, true. But if you were on the fence before about Capcom's return to the franchise, now is the time to step into the arena.
