The Arkham series is famous for its hundreds of easter eggs and secrets. To put that in perspective, videos pointing out each of these games' hidden content usually last well over an hour. Talk about attention to detail...

Despite being out since 2015, Batman: Arkham Knight seems to just keep on giving as far as easter eggs are concerned. This particular image was found only recently, and features a character that has been alluded to ever since the first Arkham instalment in 2009: Otis Flannegan's Ratcatcher.

By clipping out of bounds underneath the Numeracy 101 room of the Riddler's orphanage, you can find this creepy image partitioned across nine adjacent TV screens. Is this what the rodent-loving DC villain would have looked like in the Arkhamverse before being ultimately scrapped?

Maybe not, for another interpretation suggests that this is an early concept drawing of the game's main villain, Scarecrow. This is probably more likely, since the word 'ACE' features on the figure's outfit, and ACE chemicals is where Scarecrow sets up shop at the beginning of Arkham Knight.

Either way, though, it doesn't explain why this image is still able to be seen in-game. With so many deliberate secrets spread across the city of Gotham, is this one another cleverly hidden tidbit, or an unseen mistake?
