9. Suspended - Picking Impossible Mode
Suspended is an utterly demented 80's text adventure that carries all the hallmarks of a developer who took the piss at every opportunity. The setting itself is absolutely bizarre, seeing the player take on the role of a human forcibly plugged into a machine and tasked with managing food, weather, and traffic for a futuristic space settlement.
However problems arise when an earthquake breaks the machines governing these three areas, and now it's down to you to use your, quite frankly useless, robotic assistance to fix things, and if that wasn't stressful enough there's another human who was the previous AI who is trying to shut you down at every turn. Cheers mate.
It's an incredibly difficult balancing act at the best of times, but this is nothing compared to playing the game on impossible mode... because it quite literally is impossible.
After three turns, the sun explodes, killing everything and everyone. There's no way to stop it and will always lead to a hilarious Game Over.
... at least you tried, right?
