Anyone who played GoldenEye 007 on the Nintendo 64 will undoubtedly have fond nostalgic memories of playing through iconic moments from the titular film alongside competing with friends in its exquisite multiplayer modes. Players could also have even more fun by using one of this game’s 23 unlockable cheats to give everyone giant heads or allow them to play as a comically small James Bond.

However, there was another cheat code hidden within this game that was removed by developers Rare before its release. This secret 24th cheat was Line Mode, and it was only discovered by fans using code-altering software after the game’s release.

Unlike the other cheats which could be unlocked by completing certain levels within a specific time, players could only access this secret mode by inputting a specific combination of button presses at any point during single player that were far too complicated to stumble upon by accident.

Like its name suggests, entering this code correctly will transform the game into something that's best described as a rough sketch come to life.

With this secret cheat also useable in the recent Switch release of this game, players don’t even need to own an N64 to see what they missed in 1997.
