10 Iconic Video Games That NEED A Remake

1. Resident Evil 3: Nemesis

Ah yes, here we are, he opens the article by talking about what a game-changing success the remake of Resident Evil 2 has been, and he's going to close it by bringing us back round full-circle. Quick note for any prospective writers or journalism students reading this article; this is how you do it. This is how you get to be me.

Anyway, Capcom have already gone on record as saying that the past is the future as far as they're concerned, and Resi 2 is the first in a line of remade titles that they'll be blessing our existences with in the near future. Going to wheel out the quotation marks for you here, a Capcom "insider" has said that Resident Evil 8 won't release until after Resident Evil 3 is remade so that "confirms" that it's "already in development.

Capcom themselves - mad shaggers that they are - have said that Nemesis getting remade depended on how well Resi 2 performed financially and, well, it outsold Resi 7's lifetime sales in its opening week. Put 2 and 2 together there, and we're absolutely getting 3.

With good reason as well, because Nemesis was a staggeringly good follow-up to Resi 2 back in the day, and with how brilliantly the latter's been translated to PS4, the former would tick all the same boxes. Just take that game engine, keep everything the same, and give us Jill getting mercilessly and relentlessly pursued through Racoon City by super-zombie-Franken-Thaons, cheers.
