10 Important Video Game Cutscenes You Totally Missed

9. Corrupt Rayman - Rayman 2

Uncharted 4
Ubisoft

Whilst it might be an absolute classic that so many gamers grew up playing, there's no denying Rayman 2 is a strange title.

Nowhere is this more true in game than with The Cave of Bad Dreams, perhaps the most famous level in The Great Escape. Looking for a potion that will revive his friend Clark, players will take Rayman to the Cave of Bad Dreams where they will square off against Polokus' first ever nightmare, Jano.

Once Jano has been defeated at the end of the level's boss fight, players will be given a choice of whether they want to keep his treasures for themselves, or turn it down and help their friend.

Whilst the game is naturally screaming at them to go with the selfless option, there's a bonus ending of Rayman lounging on a beach, living his best life, having turned his back on all of his responsibilities should he listen to his selfish side.

The game will automatically put players back to the same point where they will eventually have to choose to turn down the treasure to proceed with the game, but it's always important to remember that even Rayman can succumb to the dark side if the opportunity arises.

Horror fan, gamer, all round subpar content creator. Strongly believes that Toad is the real hero of the Mario universe, and that we've probably had enough Batman origin stories.
