9. Metal Gear Survive - Seth
Oh Konami, what were you thinking with this one? Don't get it twisted, this isn't going to be a retrospective that tells you that, "Metal Gear Survive is actually alright?". It's really, really not.
It's bland, it makes little to no sense despite being a Metal Gear game, and is just a tragic waste of the license. Couldn't even get creative with the boss name, coming from a series with names like "Hot Coldman" in it.
Seth, bland as the name sounds, is the surprise this game needed.
The story is too daft to condense here, but the gist is that Seth is one of the first to be sucked off into the mystery portal. Retaining most of his autonomy, he becomes infected by the Dread Dust and sabotages proceedings for the player character.
The fight itself is pretty straightforward, offering the gun-and-gameplay used in Metal Gear Solid V. And Seth is just a big dude, covered in dust-spikes, that needs taking out.
It may sound formulaic, but it's one of the games few moments that shines as a final boss fight. But it's not worth playing the game through, take our word for it.
