10 Incredible Details You Missed In Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom
3. The Divine Beast Masks
The Divine Beasts, which acted as the major dungeons in Breath of the Wild, don't make an official appearance in Tears of the Kingdom.
It does, admittedly, feel strange that these giant mechanical creatures have vanished out of thin air. However, this was likely a deliberate choice to keep new players in the loop. Still, the Divine Beasts do have a connection to the game, and it's one you can wear.
Across the land of Hyrule, you can find the four Divine Beast Masks, which allow you to wear the faces of the colossal constructions. These Divine Helms can be uncovered in varying locations, including a cave in Zora's Domain, an underground ruin in the Gerudo Desert, and more.
However, adding to this detail is yet another hidden detail, making this one even better. After putting one of the masks on, you'll notice that the corresponding Sage Companion will put their Sage Mask on. From there, you can clearly see the connection between the Divine Beasts and the Sages, as each one is reminiscent of the Beasts, with minor changes here and there.
It's a small yet brilliant way to connect between the games.
