10 Incredible Star Wars Video Games That Desperately Deserve Sequels

2. Galaxies

The ill-fated MMO from Sony Online Entertainment, Star Wars: Galaxies launched in 2003 to universal acclaim from fans and critics alike. Though this adoration would waver after the game's last expansion, Galaxies provided Star Wars fans with the ability to roam their favourite universe whilst personalising every last detail of their experience. As far as MMOs go it was a pretty stellar title, and though The Old Republic has managed to develop a fervent online following, it still hasn't quite managed to topple Galaxies' position as the king of the Star Wars take on the genre. Its expansions too have yet to garner the same widespread acclaim that Galaxies' did, with its predecessor including updates that introduced space combat to the mix as well as new quest lines on top. As it stands The Old Republic is here to stay, but that won't stop players pining for another Galaxies anytime soon.
