5. Battlefield 4 Beta In Early October
Battlefield 4 is without question one of the most anticipated games of the year, what with its focus on astounding visuals and multiplayer set-pieces like we have never seen before. DICE announced yesterday that the beta for Battlefield 4 will launch on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in early October, giving us a taste of what could very well be the best online FPS experience to date, going by the stunning footage we've seen so far. In addition to this, details of the DLC Premium service were released, noting that the game has five planned expansion packs, which will be available two weeks early for Premium subscribers. Premium will cost $50, and as is a major coup, will be transferable to next-gen platforms along with your stats and so on. If nothing else, this upcoming beta should give us a primer for what we can expect on the next-gen iterations too.
