4. PSVita Price Drop From Today
Sony announced yesterday, in a highly expected move, that the PlayStation Vita would be dropping in price to 199.99 from today (in both Euros and Dollars), and much to the relief of many, the much-complained-about memory cards will be receiving a "significant" price drop, though the actual figure has yet to be released. It's a smart move from Sony, who have struggled to really elevate the handheld as a real competitor to Nintendo's considerably less powerful 3DS. The announcement of AAA title Borderlands 2 being ported to the Vita should also help it shift some more units, and hopefully take advantage of the kit's sophisticated tech. Consider this Sony's last major shot at securing the platform's future.
