Released in 2010 as a sequel to 2008's Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, the events of the series became non-canon when Disney acquired Lucasfilm two years later, also putting an end to any plans of any further sequels.

It's a shame, because The Force Unleashed II was a worthy addition to the Star Wars Universe.

Giving the player control of a clone of Starkiller, the protagonist of The Force Unleashed who was once Darth Vader's secret apprentice.

Turning away from the Sith to embrace a more balanced approach to the Force, Starkiller combines all the most powerful elements of both the Dark and the Light to make himself an incredibly powerful Jedi, using a mixture of Force powers and lightsaber combat to aid the Rebel Alliance.

It's a must-play for any Star Wars fan, but even for those relatively uninitiated in the Star Wars expanded universe The Force Unleashed II provides an enjoyable sci-fi action experience. It combines elements of hack-and-slash with more traditional action-RPG games, and the result is something fun and easy to play with a solid story behind it.
