10 Incredibly Cheap Video Game Moves (That You Totally Used All The Time)

3. Eddy Gordo's Everything (Tekken 3)

Tekken 3 introduced a brand new fighter to its roster, a Brazilian known as Eddy Gordo who danced his way out of prison and straight into the King of Iron First Tournament. Not only can Gordo be credited with popularising the rhythmic martial art of Capoeira in the west, but he also claims responsibilty for a trail of busted PS1 pads.

Eddy is the fighting game aficionado's worst nightmare. There's no need to tediously memorise a string of intricate commands to master his perpetually pirouetting limbs - just mashing the buttons like a cat with a keyboard will soon see the bodies pile up. For that reason, he is every beginner's favourite - and there's nothing experts hate more than being totally schooled by a mindless rookie.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
