1. MGS V Will Be The Final Game In The Franchise

The Rumour: We say this every time a new Metal Gear Solid game comes out, but will this be the last one? Hideo Kojima continues to work on the franchise despite promising that practically each one will be his last, though if The Phantom Pain ties up Big Boss' story and gives us nothing left to ponder, perhaps this will be the end-point for the series as we know it?
How Likely Is It? Given how commercially successful the series is, it's not massively likely. Though the game could very well mark the end of any Big Boss-centric games, a Metal Gear Solid VI is almost certain, even if it might not be called MGS6, and might revolve around a completely new character in a totally different scenario. Given how MGS4 seemed like the perfect ending for the series yet MGS5 looks so amazing, we're sure Kojima will find yet another ingenious way to pull us back in just when we thought we were done with the franchise.
