10 Insane Video Game Details You Definitely Missed

1. The Solar System Is Accurate For 2185 (Apart From Pluto) - Mass Effect 2

Mass Effect 2
BioWare

Mass Effect 2 takes place in 2185, and features a gorgeous map of the Solar System for players to peruse. But believe it or not, the map is actually a near-perfect arrangement of how the Solar System will look in 2185.

Even with the Mass Effect series' fiercely committed, science-loving fanbase, most players probably would've never noticed if BioWare just phoned in some guesswork, but they instead went above and beyond to make the game as scientifically plausible as possible.

There is one oddity, though, and that's the inclusion of Pluto on the map, given that the former planet was downgraded to a mere "dwarf planet" back in 2006.

The game admittedly refers to Pluto as an "ice dwarf" rather than a planet, but considering that Mass Effect 2 didn't release until 2010, BioWare surely had ample time to clear it off the board.
