For the next year, it would be time for a new Assassins Creed game, based on Ubisoft's release pattern.

While there is always a lot of speculation when it comes to the setting of the next Assassins Creed, we have a variety of clues as to what's happening.

For one, we have questionable intel from 2018, coming from a developer in Bangalore working for Technicolor Studios, who leaked info about an Assassins Creed game codenamed: Dynasty. This info lead a lot of people to speculate toward a China-based setting.

The most recent clue is from The Division 2, where an easter egg points to an Assassin's Creed game in a Viking setting.

Pieces of information were leaked by an insider to strengthen the theory, as according to them, you'll accompany Ragnar Lothbrok, a legendary Viking warrior, with the working title being Assassin's Creed: Ragnarok.
