10 Last Gen Games That Absolutely Must Come To Nintendo Switch

9. Dead Space

Switch GTA
EA

Dead Space arrived in 2008 with a meteoric crash, a game that came from out of nowhere to remind people that survival horror isn't only fun but amazing! It takes place aboard an abandoned mining spaceship, with a dark and creepy setting overrun by parasitic creatures that turn their hosts into twitchy, razor-limbed alien monsters. It's one of the few truly scary video games ever made and has aged shockingly well in the decade since.

While its sequel was also a great game, the third in the series all but killed it entirely. Fans predictably shunned the action-heavy co-op title and EA took that to mean the IP was no longer relevant and shelved it indefinitely. Since then, Visceral Games has been shuttered and EA is all about them live services games, so a remaster of Dead Space seems about as likely as FIFA being postponed a year.

Dead Space is, arguably, the greatest survival horror game ever made and it's currently dormant somewhere at EA. Why not rejuvenate the series with a port to the Switch? Sure it's improbable but let us dream dammit!
