10 Laziest Super Mario Boss Fights Of All Time
7. Mega Baby Bowser - Yoshi's New Island
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island concludes with Yoshi battling a Godzilla-sized version of Baby Bowser. The slow rock ballad just before the turtle titan reveals himself makes the player know that they are in for one hell of a fight. Up until this point, most Bowser battles were relatively easy. At the time, this was the hardest Bowser battle ever and is hailed as one of the greatest fights in the franchise.
When the game's sequel, Yoshi's New Island, was released 19 years later, fans were beyond thrilled. If gamers were hoping the final foe would be just as sensational as in the original Yoshi's Island, they were left very disappointed.
It's the same fight as before except it's far less challenging. Although this version of Mega Baby Bowser shoots fireballs and drops Shy Guys on you, his most common tactic is stomping the ground, causing the pillars you stand on to shift around. You know why his jumping around is so annoying? It doesn't hurt you. This means his main attack... isn't even an attack! It's such a shame to watch such a legendary adversary be neutered so badly in this botched sequel.
