10 Legendary Nintendo Characters We're All Sick To Death Of
4. Bowser
Considered by many to be the greatest video game antagonist of all time, Bowser has been in almost as many Nintendo games as his greatest foe, the legendary Mario. But he's changed little throughout the years, as he is always the hot-tempered, fire-breathing lizard-turtle that is obsessed with princess-snatching. As much as I like his character and the classic, visual style of this cool-looking villain, the time has come for Bowser to take a break. Aside from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story (a handheld game), Bowser has been completely played out as the archetypal video game villain the he actually helped to establish. An alternative to outright nixing him from future titles is to give him the Wario treatment and let us actually play as him. Exploring the character of Bowser and his unique family dynamics that we've seen with Bowser Jr. would be much more enticing than having to watch him lose - yet again - to the red plumber. Also, the return of Giga Bowser would be an event that almost every Nintendo lover would line up for, just as long as he maintains his epic size and grotesque looks.
