10 Locations Future Assassin's Creed Games Need To Visit
8. Brazil
Brazil is another place with a lot of cultural and historical value that would make a great setting for Assassin's Creed. The variety of landscapes and buildings in particular would make for some very interesting tree climbing possibilities. AC3 was heavy on this and it's a mechanic that could be polished and improved for a new game to offer a lot more in the way of navigation. AC Unity has shown in demos that the climbing capabilities have been improved significantly, especially in regards to getting down from buildings. You no longer have to look for a haystack to make a safe landing from the top of a massive structure. Brazil is the home of the oldest known human remains in the South American continent, showing signs of civilisation going back roughly 11 thousand years, so there is plenty of history to draw from. Colonisation from Europe began around 1500 in Brazil, which makes for a perfect time period to feature an Assassin vs. Templar battle.
I have been a writer for Bleacher Report for several years, and am now happy to also be a writer at What Culture! I do my best to contribute anywhere I can in a positive way, and that includes in my writing. Some people call me The Doctor, but Chris is fine.
