We'll be hanging out in the Western Hemisphere for the next few entries.

It's been said that the story of this film will take place at roughly the same time as the flashback sequence from Drake's Deception, when young Drake met Sully in Colombia. If this film takes place in Central or South America, there are a few options, the first of which is the City of the Caesars.

According to legend, the City of the Caesars is located in the Patagonia region of South America (between Chile and Argentina in the south). While South America is often viewed as being nothing but jungle, Patagonia is a land of glaciers, fjords, mountains, and deserts. It is here that the city is said to rest.

The city's origins are a mystery. Its purported founders include the survivors of a Spanish shipwreck, Patagonian giants, ghosts, and Inca refugees fleeing the collapse of the empire.

It is supposedly a city of riches and wealth beyond imagining. Some say it is situated between two mountains, one of which is full of diamonds, and the other of which is full of gold. That's an enticing prospect for any treasure hunter, no?
