10 Loveable Side Characters Who Deserve Their Own Video Games
2. Captain Price (Call Of Duty)
You have to admire a man who can spend half his life waging wars behind enemy lines but still finds the time to keep his sweet moustache in order. Captain Price is the unsung hero of Infinity Ward's Call of Duty games; playable in a couple of missions but never the main star of the show. With Call of Duty: Ghosts' new range of characters failing to leave a lasting impression, is it time to give the moustachioed wonder his own title? It's not like there's nothing to work with; when we're first introduced to Price in Call of Duty 4, he's clearly an important and valued member of the SAS. We revisit one of his missions in that game but there's plenty more stories that could be told from Price's younger years if Infinity Ward were to return to the character. In fact, Price survives the events of Modern Warfare 3, so there's even potential for his story to continue to develop. Solid Snake managed to stay active despite the outwardly appearance of an OAP; why couldn't Price? Captain Price did return to Call of Duty: Ghosts as a downloadable skin for the multiplayer but we want to see a full-fledged game with him at the helm, if only to get another glimpse at that magnificent moustache.
I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
