10 Major Plot Holes EASILY Answered In Their Video Games
5. Bioshock - Jack Couldn't Have Lived Outside Rapture
We learn in Bioshock that our protagonist Jack was actually an infant used in a variety of growth hormone experiments, and was sent away at the age of two when he had the appearance of a young man to live out his life then come back at the right moment.
Instantly you begin to question how the hell a two-year-old managed to survive the world outside Rapture when he's not had the combined twenty years of experience we all need to be a functioning adult.
Well in one of the audio logs in the game, you can find an answer to this crazy plot-point. Dr Suchong who was responsible for growing Jack explains he used advanced mind control to imprint everything along the way.
This included a faked backstory of where he was from, his entire life and also the ability to control him with the phrase 'Would you kindly?'
The game explained he had his memories imprinted, so it stands to reason he had all the knowledge and skills implanted too. His billionaire parents only needed to pay for someone to give him a job on the outside that fit these parameters, and he was all set.
