10 MASSIVE Video Game Leaks For 2020 You Need To Know
1. Sony Will Reveal The PlayStation 5 In February
Speaking of that reveal event, it's been a long time coming. Speculation began in 2019, after Sony skipped out on E3, that they were planning to show off their next-gen console in early 2020. As of today, most leaks are pinning all the PS5 hopes and dreams on February.
It's not a bad idea, either. February is decidedly quiet for big, AAA game releases. The only other competition could be a potential Nintendo Direct, but that's still unclear as to when that might happen, if at all.
So, what exactly will Sony be showing at this event?
At this point, it's entirely up in the air. Sony have given some details on what to expect with the PS5, even showing off the hardware loading up 2018's spectacular Spider-Man game with lightning speed. Other than that, we know next to nothing about what Sony will be showing, other than that we'll likely be seeing it in February.
Perhaps even more exciting, however, is that Sony will reportedly be debuting the next iteration of PSVR. The appropriately named PSVR2 will be the thrilling next step of Sony's VR initiative, which launched in 2016. It's all leading up to a potentially fantastic February.
