6. Horizon Zero Dawn Is Headed To PC
It's been interesting to watch impossible things happen, as it seemed like games such as Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human were destined to remain PlayStation exclusives forever.
But that all changed when Quantic Dream announced that they would both be coming to PC, courtesy of the Epic Games Store. This opened up a lot of interesting potential scenarios, including a startling leak about Horizon Zero Dawn making its way to the PC.
Horizon was powered by the remarkable Decima Engine, the in-house tool of Guerrilla Games. This immensely powerful engine was also responsible for the creation of Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding, which also launches on PC this summer. If you thought Horizon looked like a dream on the PlayStation 4, just imagine what it could look like on a high-powered PC.
If Horizon does indeed make its way to PC, this could be yet another sign of the changes forthcoming in the industry. Things like this used to be off-limits, as publishers fought for dominance and relevance in an extremely competitive marketplace. That doesn't mean you'll see Halo on the PS5, but it does allow for some exciting opportunities in the future.
