10 Mature Film Franchises That Would Make Great LEGO Video Games

1. The Terminator Series

While the later films in the 5-film franchise are of mixed quality, The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement Day gave us many iconic movie moments. The motorbike/lorry chase through Los Angeles sewer system is so incredible that even Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas put its own spin on it in 2004. Other entries in the series are ripe for video game conversion: shape-shifting robots, car/helicopter chases, fierce shootouts and the infiltration then subsequent destruction of so many office blocks and factories.

There'd be plenty of characters to unlock, too. Versions of the Terminator as either him, or herself, the unforgettable T-1000, skeletal warriors and Arnie from across the decades. Then there's John and Sarah Connor from different periods of the timeline and notable associates: Kate Connor, Miles Dyson, Kyle Reece...

LEGO Terminator would be violent, full of the classic LEGO humour and, with licensed music, it would sound amazing.

So, do you agree that LEGO could break out from its family-friendly image? Are there other action films worthy of LEGO-isation? Let us know in the comments!
