10 Mature Film Franchises That Would Make Great LEGO Video Games

It's unlikely the LEGO engine could adapt itself as a one-on-one 2D or 3D fighter, but melee and weapon combat always been a mainstay LEGO titles regardless of source material.

But just having miniatures of Goro, Scorpion, Liu Kang, Sub-Zero and more in that awesome blocky LEGO design would be a treat for long-time fans of MK. And let's be fair, Mortal Kombat has laughed at itself since at least 1993 with Mortal Kombat II's finishers: Babalities.

The trademark LEGO humour would fit right in both in pre-fight cutscenes and with the finishers. They could even go the whole Super Mario Odyssey route and throw in the occasional 2D fight stage as a throwback.

No need for blood when you've got red blocks. It'll be like the PAL version of No More Heroes all over again. YouTubers are already all over LEGO/MK crossovers, building custom characters in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2.

Now all we need is a TT/Warner executive to spot the gap in the market!
