10 Mega-Hyped 2014 Video Games That Will Definitely Disappoint
6. Dragon Age 3: Inquisition
OK, at first glance its already incredibly enticing to slay dragons and continue on the Dragon Age saga for Eighth Generation consoles, but I dont think many gamers will be wholly forgiving and immediately tossing cash at their consoles, considering that Dragon Age 2s casualization and action oriented gameplay tweaks didnt sit well with the fan-base. Theres also the elephant in the room an elephant destined to follow Bioware around forever- and thats of course the divisive ending to the Mass Effect Trilogy. Dragon Age 2 itself didnt have master level writing either, and more and more writers are only leaving Bioware; the stigma and backlash associated with Mass Effect 3 is that alienating. In other words, its just going to be an uphill battle for Dragon Age 3 in striking gameplay balances, weaving together a script that can turn things around for Bioware as a whole, and generally garnering back the trust of quality from gamers.
