10 Mega-Hyped 2014 Video Games That Will Definitely Disappoint

6. Dragon Age 3: Inquisition

OK, at first glance it€™s already incredibly enticing to slay dragons and continue on the Dragon Age saga for Eighth Generation consoles, but I don€™t think many gamers will be wholly forgiving and immediately tossing cash at their consoles, considering that Dragon Age 2€™s casualization and action oriented gameplay tweaks didn€™t sit well with the fan-base. There€™s also the elephant in the room €“ an elephant destined to follow Bioware around forever- and that€™s of course the divisive ending to the Mass Effect Trilogy. Dragon Age 2 itself didn€™t have master level writing either, and more and more writers are only leaving Bioware; the stigma and backlash associated with Mass Effect 3 is that alienating. In other words, it€™s just going to be an uphill battle for Dragon Age 3 in striking gameplay balances, weaving together a script that can turn things around for Bioware as a whole, and generally garnering back the trust of quality from gamers.
