2. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots Final Fight
This is a bit of a cheat as it doesn't just take the theme of Metal Gear 4, it encompasses all the themes from the first, Sons of Liberty, Snake Eater, and finally Guns of the Patriots. It is an epic conclusion to Snake's story; a bare-knuckle, fight to the death with Liquid on top of Outer Heaven. As you exchange punches and kicks, flips and strangles, the music runs through the years and all of the theme tunes that have accompanied each of the preceding games in this classic series. It's an unabashedly sentimental flourish that forgoes being cheesy and is, instead, just about as awesome a thing to happen as anything that went before it, and all that will likely follow. And I'm not just talking about videogames. I mean in all aspects of our little lives. Seriously, check it out.
