10 Most Memorable Uses Of Music In Video Games

4. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater €“ Your Own Victory Music

tony-hawk-hd-600x300 I've written about just how awesome it is to hear your Victory Song play as you begin yet another game of multiplayer in Tony Hawk's, but at the risk of repeating myself, it's something so important to my own personal gaming life, that I can't help but mention it again. In case you missed it last time, I defied you all to play any Tony Hawk's game and not have a favourite song on each of their soundtracks. That song becomes your Victory Music, because no matter how much of a stinker you're having as you race through the mall yet again, able to do nothing but crash into the glass maps, ridiculous fountains, or other obstacles that your rival seems to ollie with nought but glee and a flip of the V's, when you hear that music, your music, you know it's game time. And the world around you fades to black. And there's nothing but you and your pad and that song. And you have the run of your life.
