2. Turning The Cassette Over
Some games were so... extensive (hmmm) that you'd have to turn the game cassette over mid-play, because you simply couldn't fit that much fun on one side! In fact, in some cases, the load time was
so damn long that you'd have to turn the tape over before you'd even started playing. The big problem with this process was that, 50% of the time (and 99% of the time once the tape had endured some wear and tear), the changeover would result in a crash and you'd have to start again. Tedious and futile, but essential for the full enjoyment of some of the better games.
