10 More Movies That Need To Be Video Games

5. Serenity (2005)

Plays Like - Mass Effect Developer - Bioware Joss Whedon€™s despicably short lived TV hybrid of Sci-Fi and Western 'Firefly' did thankfully receive an equally fantastic film spin-off called Serenity, which transported the adventures of Captain Malcolm Reynolds and his team of lovable rouges to the big screen. Sadly hardly anyone went to see it, which meant it was destined for the same fate of being loved by a small but dedicated cult following. Who knows if more people will go back to discover Serenity and Firefly after the mammoth success of Whedon's latest film - something you may have heard about called The Avengers. One thing is for sure, and that€™s that a video game could be the best way of reuniting the crew of the Serenity for future adventures. An epic RPG in the vein of Mass Effect, Serenity features an expansive universe to explore, full of intricate worlds and high-octane missions. With Serenity€™s emphasis on character, it€™s hard to see anyone but Bioware taking the honours, with a little help from Whedon of course. Just remember guys, it€™s an RPG, not a generic cover-based shooter, and the crew of the Serenity definitely deserve a decent ending.
