10 MORE Video Game Trophy Stats You Won't Believe
5. Barely Anyone Beat Titanfall 2's Incredible Campaign
Here's a deeply depressing statistic for anyone wondering why AAA first-person shooter single-player campaigns are becoming such a rarity these days.
Even accepting that Titanfall 2 was a sales disappointment on launch - largely due to EA sending it out to die - only a fraction of those who actually bought the game even bothered playing through its near-universally acclaimed campaign.
On PS4, only 33.1% of players popped the "Certified Pilot" trophy for beating the campaign on Regular difficulty, and on Xbox the numbers aren't a whole lot better, with the completion rate still sitting below 50%.
Between the fact that Titanfall 2's ambitious campaign was by far its best-reviewed asset and only lasted around four hours, it's a damn shame that the majority of players didn't even bother seeing it through to its glorious end.
While the multiplayer suite has always been the primary appeal of these games, Titanfall 2's single-player mode remains one of the strongest FPS campaigns of the last decade, yet has evidently largely fallen upon deaf ears.
