Journey is such a surreal and astounding game. First released as a PSN exclusive, it is now available as a retail release. However you play it, though, it is one of the most unique experiences on the PS3. Players begin by taking control of a nameless, cloaked wanderer whose sole goal is to walk toward a distant mountain.

For some, this may seem like a simple premise, and it is. Journey is so unique that it's hard to describe. The game boasts an amazing soundtrack, lacks traditional dialogue and in-game chat, and offers simple tools with which to traverse the game's world. Players can explore to find scarf pieces, which lends them powers to jump higher and reach areas previously unattainable. More an emotional journey through a haunting and beautiful environment than your typical video game fare, one of Journey's only flaws is that it is way too short.
