There are many… many different shotgun shells that inhabit the Gungeon, 7 in fact. Each one with a unique, Liam Neeson like skill set, but then somewhere along the way, someone decided it would be a great idea to create and include the Shotgrub.
What must’ve been a creature that appeared in one of the developers bad dreams, the Shotgrub is the grossest and deadliest of all the shotgun shells. With a literal grub for a head that Pumba from The Lion King would find tantalizing, you’d rather this abomination get out of your sight as fast as possible than continuing to shoot back at it.
With this denison of Bullet-Hell, you’ll just barely have dodged his first onslaught only to realize that those original bullets have split and are coming back at you in completely unpredictable wave patterns. Some even seem to follow you to your hiding spots, breaking the laws of aerodynamics to bend around corners just to spite you.
