A boss that has an insane health pool, the Ur-Dragon knocks even the final dragon boss out of the water with how long and tedious the fight can be.
If not properly equipped, the fight can take damn near ages, but with the right gear and abilities it can, well, still take damn near ages, but is infinitely more fun. The boss fights in Dragon’s Dogma are the highlights, the game's ultimate appeal, and the Ur-Dragon is a real test of patience and player ability.
While the offline version is often considered a push over, the online version requires a multitude of different players to help you even stand a chance of besting the fearsome beast. The mechanics of the online fight can be complicated, but being one of the players who kill the beast can be incredibly rewarding with some of the most powerful equipment being up for grabs after killing him.
