10 Most Evil Choices In Video Games
1. Destroying Megaton - Fallout 3
In the apocalyptic wasteland of America, following nuclear warfare between the USA and China over diminishing natural resources, we find The Lone Wanderer.
After emerging from the only home he had ever known in Vault 101, The Lone Wanderer ventures out to find his father, who mysteriously left the Vault without saying a word about his destination.
One of the earliest locations that you come across in the Capital Wasteland is a city named Megaton, aptly named after the un-detonated nuclear bomb resting in the heart of the oversized shantytown. A quest named 'The Power of the Atom' is given with two optional objectives: disarm or detonate the bomb.
Lucas Simms, a Megaton resident and the sheriff of its population, wants the bomb disarmed to ensure the ongoing safety of the city residents. Mister Burke wants you to detonate the bomb as his employer believes Megaton to be an eyesore on the horizon.
That's right. Burke wants an entire city and community wiped out because he thinks it's an ugly view from the Tenpenny Tower.
There are multiple routes that this mission can go, including the deaths of both Burke and Simms regardless of what happens to the bomb, but blowing up a city and it's people just because it's not pretty to look at is undoubtedly evil.
