6. Execute An Android For Information - Detroit: Become Human

Detroit: Become Human is designed to completely question your interpretation of society. As androids begin to develop self-awareness to the point of feeling emotions and forming attachments, should they be welcomed into the general public as equals of humans or be wiped out lest they usurp humanity at the most dominant species?

You play as three androids: Kara, Marcus and Connor. Kara and Marcus become 'deviants' (the name for self-aware androids) regardless of the player's decisions, but you may choose to play Connor precisely how the android had been programmed to operate.

Acting as an aid to the Detroit City Police Department, it is Connor's initial task to investigate the deviants and put an end to their uprising alongside the human police lieutenant Hank Anderson. Fairly late into Connor's story, he uncovers a new lead: Elijah Kamski, the creator of CyberLife.

Here, Kamski offers Connor a choice: he will answer Connor's questions if he executes another android named Chloe right then and there.

Depending on your interaction with the game and its themes, you may be starting to see androids as having the potential to function as humans, including having the capacity to feel pain and sadness. Should Connor kill Chloe to receive potentially useless information, it is not too far away from murder.
