3. The Dung Eater (Elden Ring)
You don't get a name like the Loathsome Dung Eater without doing something to earn it. Yet this goofy-as-hell moniker doesn't do justice to the abhorrent nature of this character. He's reprehensible, full of hatred, and obsessed with cursing people. In a world as brutal as Elden Ring's Lands Between, he sits upon the throne of evil lord.
The Dung Eater is a fellow Tarnished you encounter in the Roundtable Hold surrounded by rotting corpses, which is a pretty decent omen of what he has in store for you and this world - omen being the optimum word there.
It's clear from the offset that this NPC is not as friendly as the others in this hub location. His only desire is to kill people and defile their corpses, cursing their souls to be unable to return to the Erdtree.
In essence, this horrifying figure dishes out one of the worst possible fates Elden Ring has to offer and absolutely revels in it, hoping to inflict the omen curse on the entire population. If that's not pure evil, then what is?
