10 Most Hated Mobile Games From Great Video Game Franchises

6. Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad

Some games have the ability to overcome a buggy release, or slightly bland gameplay, particularly when backed with an established audience and major games studio. Unfortunately for Ubisoft’s 2020 release, Elite Squad, making a success of a game that struggles with both issues may prove to be a lost cause.

The game appeared in a less than completely finished state and was derided for being a generic title with gameplay that largely passes the player by, complete with a Tom Clancy skin. The Tom Clancy series has been remarkably consistent on home consoles, but it does seem to struggle to translate into a portable format, with a number of mobile and handheld releases falling flat.

The Rainbow Six series is set to return in 2021 after a six year hiatus with the aptly named Quarantine, and fans will hope it takes inspiration from the successes of the Division games, as opposed to this attempt at a quick cash grab.
