9. Leech Men (Resident Evil Zero)
If you really want to channel your hate at a Resident Evil enemy, go for the leeches. After all, they're the ones that started all of this.
No leech DNA to combine the Progenitor virus to, no T-Virus...
But if you specifically want to hate the leeches for something, then RE: 0 is the place for it. Amassing as a mimicry of Dr. Marcus is annoying in itself.
That long distance slap, the rushing up and giving you a slimy, painful hug is bad enough. The absolute nadir, though, is when you think you've killed one.
Before all this 4K and high definition malarkey, it was hard to spot that one or more of the slimy critters has attached itself to you. You may just carry one with you, without knowing until it bites and detaches.
One bite, maybe not so bad. But if you're on dark Caution, or even Danger, that nibble's enough to finish you off (as I've routinely found out).
All of this makes that decision to kill Leech Men even harder.
